40 Days for Life is back at it this fall with a 40-day campaign of prayer and fasting for the end of the culture of death. This fall, 212 cities across America and Canada are taking part with (as always) peaceful and prayerful demonstrations at local abortion facilities. Often these demonstrations will continue 24 hours a day for the entire 40-day campaign.
40 Days for Life is a non-denominational program that’s open to people of all faiths who want to see a culture of life restored in our society. They are always in need of volunteers, people who are interested in witnessing at abortion facilities, and, of course, prayers!
You can get involved by going to http://www.40daysforlife.com/. From there, you can get more information about who they are, how you can help, and if your city is taking part this year. If not, I encourage you to look into what it takes and consider being part of bringing 40 Days for Life to your city at their next campaign in the spring of 2010.
