Happy Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Happy Feast of Marry Being Conceived Without Original Sin.  Now that I write it out, Immaculate Conception does sound a lot cooler.

Either way, don't forget to get yourself to Mass today and thank God for always providing us with the grace to respond to his plan for us.  After all, that's what the Immaculate Conception shows us; the God was willing to go out of the ordinary to enable a young woman to say yes to a very special, but difficult, life.

Word has it that in Austria today is a holiday; I wish that would fly here in America.  If only.

God bless, everyone!

Yes, if only. Seems like we can celebrate everything else, huh? I pray every day that I can be accepting of God's will in my life like Mary was so long ago.

Where is the reference that Mary was born without original sin, my understanding is that only Jesus, who is the Christ is the only one born without original sin.

Thanks for asking!
